Hi, after Avencast has been released (and a very good debut title I might add), I wonder what Clockstone will work on next? No details (for the obvious reason), I just wanted to know if you'll stay faithful to the RPG genre? A sequel to Avencast, or maybe a new IP? Tell us if you can already share some tidbits about your next project!

Right now ClockStone is working on a couple of smaller projects (e.g. a Nintendo DS game) But we are also preparing an addon or sequal for Avencast but this is not fixed yet. However, it is likely we will make a port of Avencast to the xbox 360. Including some extra features of course! But the details have not been worked out yet.

Try to get away from linear storylines, thats kind of frowned upon lately from what I've seen. Avencast has amazing potential as an mmo in my eyes, or atleast a Fable-like rpg.

You are absolutely right. The problem is that adding non-linear elements, multiplayer or even MMO increases development costs enormously and it's not so easy to raise funds for a new company like ClockStone. We'll try our best in any case - I'm sure there is great potential in those ideas!

id rather you guys do co-op modes in game, up the creatures levels and all that for the co-op, split exp/gold. also. id like to see all the RPG classes done. not in one game, i mean a game like avencast only its a warrior school, or a ranger school, what not. was just so much fun focusing on the mage and his class alterations and paths. so do all the classes, would be a series of games each one dedicated to one class and a storyline be so much fun to do the differnt styles of a warrior or rouge, and with you guys doing the game and class pathways and skillls atleast i know id be buying a product that was quality.
